At Rise and Share, we pollinate generosity and help nonprofits fulfill their missions. Finding a logo that represented this vision and mission was not an easy task. Using an international pool of logo designers at 99Designs, over 100 entries were submitted for review.
The final design selected after some minor adjustments has a surprising element that most don’t notice at first glance. Having the community give feedback during the design process and final voting for the final design helped us understand how the community might perceive Rise and Share in an era where first glances online are critical.
“It was important that our logo be vibrant and have an element of movement to inspire hope in our community as we rise from the pandemic and share our resources to strengthen the nonprofit sector collectively with our community,” stated Karen M. Robson, founding board member. “We are so grateful for those that provided feedback. We are very pleased with the process and the final design”
Have you found the “R” and the “S” in the final design yet?
As one-third of nonprofits are expected to close or merge due to the pandemic, Rise and Share engages non-profit partners and various private funders to mutually support marketing, funding, volunteer, and other operational support services using an online platform and other delivery methods. Services include: SHARE Communities, fundraising training and skill development, board development, strategic planning, marketing and promotional support, corporate responsibility alignment, and event planning.
