What We Do
We provide shelter, services and programs to homeless and vulnerable kids.We serve good kids who are in bad situations. Kids who have been marginalized, ostracized, abused and abandoned. At the heart of our mission is providing a safe landing built on the pillars of equity, diversity and inclusion.
Long standing causes of youth homelessness such as family conflict, abuse and neglect have increased exponentially due to the stressors of this time. Additionally, mental health issues among teens have skyrocketed. Anxiety and depression and the rate of suicides among young people is at an all-time high.
The kids we help in our shelter, transitional living program, and various other services, come from families experiencing financial and housing insecurity, family conflict, abuse, violence, neglect and substance abuse. We rescue kids from heartbreaking situations and prevent them from falling prey to tragic circumstances.
