What We Do
The New Beginnings Animal Rescue mission is to match the cats under our care with qualified loving adopters. We also provide pet food and supplies to Middlesex county residents to reduce the financial burden of pet ownership.
Our group is made up entirely of volunteers who assist with animal care, adoption and surrender coordination, facility cleaning/upkeep, fundraising, community outreach and so much more! While NBAR does receive some limited assistance in the form of supplies/food from corporations, the majority of our operations is funded through the generous support of individual donors.
Interesting Info
- We operate a Pet Food Bank, located at the YMCA in East Brunswick, in addition to our animal rescue efforts.
- In the first 11 months of 2022, we have placed over 150 homeless animals into new forever homes!
- In 2022 we moved to a new, larger location at 742 Route 18N in East Brunswick, where we are able to help more animals.
