THE TIME TO HELP UKRAINE IS NOW!

HELP BRING LIGHT OUT OF THE DARKNESS

Rise and Share for Ukraine

Like you, we are devastated by the invasion happening in Ukraine.  We are working to communicate the most urgent and vital needs as seen through the lenses of your respective interest, faith, and social outlook. Our goal is to provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to help Ukraine directly and effectively.

Some things to keep in mind when donating to a charity:

  • Donate money over items.
  • Prioritize charities that have strong ties to Ukraine and that prioritize short-term relief over long-term development.
  • Vet the charity through the Better Business Bureau's Give.orgGuideStar or Charity Navigator.
  • Go to the nonprofit's website to see how the money is being used.
  • Use a credit card rather than a debit card or a third-party service to make your donation.
  • Beware of solicitations for charities by phone or text, even if they seem legitimate.
  • Never agree to wire transfers or donations through gift cards.

These organizations and support opportunities have been nominated and vetted by our nonprofit partners and people on the front lines in Ukraine.
